In this website, it create an OpenID account for login purpose. OpenID is a decentralized open source federated identity management (FIM). It does not require and specific software to be installed on the laptop instead it uses URL-based identity system. The URL itself is also backup with a username and password to protect the URL to its rightful owner. OpenID is not strong enough for most banking and e-commerce, but is suitable for other less secure sites.

All you need to do is to get a URL from a free site that provides OpenID account. In this Verisign Labs is one of the site that gives free services. Your OpenID URL is found at the front page after verify creation, the URL can then be used to login to website that provides this OpenID services.
